I was also in the 139th Glasgow Boy's Brigade and Jim was both one of my officers and my next door neighbour before he left for New Zealand

Thank you for an interesting site my main search was in relation to the 139th Boys Brigade company which I was a member of from 1941 until 1960 before leaving for New Zealand.

Thank you for such a wonderful site of information. I am looking for my family crest - under the MacRae clan. My grandfather was William Reekie of Nova Scotia, my Uncle from Toronto, George Reekie and my great uncle John Reekie lived in Northern Ontario. A site search facility has been added to SFH to allow you to search the entire site for words or phrasing of your choosing. NB: in many of the lists, personal names are listed as 'Surname, Forename' - e.g. try searching for both "John Anderson" and "Anderson, John"
