In my family a captain called William Henry Watson, married in July 1772 (in Deventer) miss Hester Webina de Lange de Beauvesier. William Henry was member of the Regiment General-Major Stuart (Scottish regiment), at Breda (Holland) He died on September 18th 1796 in Breda. I am trying to find out info regarding my relatives George Wilkie born in 1821 and was employed as a mason in Bayview Terrace Leven and his father another George who was a farmer in Durie near Leven. Both are related to Sir David Wilkie who came from Pitlessie 26 July 2009 - United Kingdom Webmaster comments   Information about Sir David Wilkie, R.A. available from many different printed sources, one example being The Book of Eminent Scotsmen, edited by Joseph Irving and published in Paisley in 1881. Hi I am looking for William Louis (might be wrong spell middle name or Lowis) was born in Scotland around 1800c and he was a waterman. Think he was married or may not married to Ethel Austin who had a son Frederick Gibson - couldnt find birth or death records for them. I found a death record for Frederick in Feb 1986 in Surrey.
